Learning outcomes
Accreditation is a tool for external evaluation of quality and safety during providing health services. Accreditation standards for hospitals are intended for providers of urgent care in hospitals of all types. The aim of this subject is to familiarize students with quality management of nursing care, with fulfilling accreditation standards and their checking. After completing the course the student will be ready to evaluate the quality and safety of healthcare services pursuant to Act 207/2011 Coll., about health services and conditions of their provision.
The student is familiar with the term - accreditation of the medical facility. The student is familiar with the course of the accreditation survey and the evaluation of accreditation standards. The student is interested in development and innovation of nursing care. The student is able to evaluate the quality of given care. The student knows layout, content and use of chosen accreditation standards. The student has knowledges and skills which allow to realize the program of increasing quality.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of nursing care management from bachelor's study
